Teacher Walter in Spain!

Teacher Walter and his wife spent 6 weeks during February and March exploring southern Spain, away from tourist destinations and off the beaten track.

We found lovely food, deserted beaches, wonderful people and great sunshine!

Of course, he continued teaching his students whilst he was away!

It is always sad BUT also satisfying when a student who has made AMAZING progress at learning English moves on the next stage of their learning journey.

GOODBYE, Jessie ! Having taught you for over 5 years, I know that you have a BRILLIANT future ahead of you!

Sicily

Teacher Walter and his wife are currently exploring the amazing island of Sicily, Italy !!

Here is a video celebrating Chinese New Year from my town of LIVERPOOL in the UK.

Liverpool is home to the oldest China Town community in the whole of the UK.

Liverpool Chinatown

The Chinatown in Liverpool was the first to be established in Europe and is easily recognised by the beautifully crafted Chinese Arch that adorns the entry. The arch was imported piece by piece from Shanghai, a city which Liverpool is twinned with.

The ceremonial arch stands at 13.5 metres tall and is the largest in Europe, in fact it is the tallest standing arch in any Chinatown outside of mainland China.
